Are IELTS Speaking Part 1 questions used in more than one test?

Is it possible to get the same IELTS Speaking Part 1 questions in two different IELTS Speaking tests?

Although it’s unlikely that you’ll get the same questions in two tests, we do know IELTS candidates who were asked the same questions as they had been asked in a previous test. Check out the video below to see Jane, an IELTS candidate from Hong Kong, talk about how she got similar IELTS Speaking Part 1 questions in each of the IELTS tests she took.

As you’ll see on the video, I’ve included some common IELTS Speaking Part 1 questions that you should practice answering as part of your IELTS preparation.

(If you can’t view the video above, try viewing it directly on our YouTube channel).

If you’ve taken the IELTS test before and you need to take it again, it would be a good idea to think about how you could have given better answers to the questions you got in the Speaking test. There’s a chance you could get the same or similar questions when you take the test again.

Have a good weekend,

Pete
