How I got an IELTS Reading band score 8.0

Hi

Check out the video below to see Cris, a Chilean candidate who got 8.0 for his reading, give some advice about how to prepare for the IELTS Reading test.

As you’ll see on the video, Samantha (one of our IELTS tutors) asked Cris what the three most important things were that he did to prepare for his reading test.

(If you can’t view the video above, try viewing it directly on our YouTube channel or our YouKu channel).

To get a band score 8.0 in the IELTS Academic Reading test, you’ll probably need to get at least 35 out of the 40 questions correct. In the IELTS General Training Reading test, you’ll most likely need to get more than this.

We’ll be posting another video of Cris, this time talking about the IELTS Listening test, in a week or so.

  1. Thanks for sharing ^^

I’m going to have ielts tests tomorrow. I think the most difficult part is “reading”, I often answered wrong in the part needs you choose “true, false or not given”…haha

This blog is very useful~ I’m now more relaxed to see other candidates’ sharing. =D

Hope I can get a good score finally! =]
