Which countries can I take your courses in?

You can take our courses in almost any country. All you need is:

What level do I need to be to takes your courses?

We help learners who are at IELTS 5.0 or above.

As part of the registration process, we will ask if you have taken an IELTS test before and/or make an assessment of your English language level.

How long are the courses?

The length of a course depends on what a particular learner needs. Some learners take our courses for a few weeks just before their exam to get our advice on how to improve their IELTS Band Score. Others take our courses for a few months to help them improve their English before taking the IELTS exam.

When you register for a course, we discuss your language learning needs and goals and then together decide on the most appropriate course length.

How many weeks should I study for?

Every learner has different language learning needs and goals and so different learners study for different amounts of time. Some learners take our courses for a few months to help them improve their English before taking the IELTS exam. Others take our courses for a few weeks just before their exam to get our advice on how to improve their IELTS Band Score.

When you register for a course, we discuss your language learning needs and goals and then together decide on the most appropriate course length.

How will I improve my grammar and vocabulary on your courses?

On our courses you are given individual feedback on your writing and speaking skills. This feedback is often focused on helping you understand and use a wider range of grammar and vocabulary.

How many hours a week will I have to study?

On the Standard option courses, most learners spend between one and a half and two hours per week on the various tasks. This time includes the time spent on the writing task, the 30-minute speaking session and checking individual feedback.

On the Intensive option courses, most learners spend between three and four hours on the various tasks.

On either option, you can complete the tasks at a time that is convenient for you.

Do I need a webcam to take your courses?

You can take our courses without a webcam by having your speaking sessions on the telephone, MSN audio or Skype audio.

How do I register for a course?

If you are interested in taking one of our courses, you should tell us which course you are interested in by using the contact us form on this website or by emailing us at info@e-englishteacher.com.

When we receive your request, we will send you an email which includes questions about your language learning needs and goals. We can also arrange a time to talk about your learning requirements if needed.

If you decide to start learning with us, we will send you payment details and then your login details to our online course management system, my_course, which will include your individual learning programme.

How can I pay for my course?

There are different ways to pay for your course.

How do I arrange my speaking sessions?

We will arrange a regular time for your speaking sessions during the registration process.

You can change the time of your speaking sessions as long as you give your teacher at least 36 hours notice.

Can I change the time of my speaking sessions?

You can arrange a more convenient time for your speaking sessions as long as you give your teacher at least 36 hours notice (or 24 hours notice if you are in the same country as your teacher).

Can I cancel my course?

You can cancel your course before the agreed start date or at any time during the course as long as you give your teacher at least one week's notice of the cancellation date.

In this case, we will arrange a refund for any remaining weeks.
