Over the coming months, IELTS Australia will be running some free IELTS Masterclasses in several countries, including Australia, Egypt, Indonesia, Singapore and Turkey.

Each IELTS Masterclass is designed for candidates who need an IELTS band score 6.0 or above and will include IELTS preparation tips, common mistakes to avoid and an opportunity to learn about the IELTS assessment criteria.

Free IELTS practice test from the British Council

Take a free IELTS Academic or General Training practice test online

You can now do a free IELTS practice test on the British Council website. The test includes all four modules of the IELTS test (Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking) and includes separate Reading and Writing tests for IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training.

Two videos that may motivate you to work harder on your IELTS preparation

In my experience of preparing for exams, if you take a break from your preparation and do something completely different, it can give you the motivation you need to keep going with your study.

So, for something completely different, I’d like to share with you two videos that inspired me to work harder, do some exercise, and of course write better blog posts to help you with your IELTS preparation.
