Is the book Reading for IELTS suitable for you?
I often get asked if I can recommend any books that focus on reading for IELTS, and so I thought I’d review the book Reading for IELTS published by Collins.
If, like many IELTS candidates, you find the IELTS Academic Reading test difficult and need to improve your reading band score to a 6.0 or above, then read on to see if this book is suitable for you.
What I like about Reading for IELTS:
- I think the best feature of this book is that it includes a unit on each of the 11 types of IELTS Reading question, including matching headings and true, false or not given questions.

What do you need to know to improve your IELTS speaking?
The first step to improving your speaking for IELTS
To improve your speaking for IELTS, it’s important to know which aspect of your speaking you need to improve. If you know, for example, that you hesitate a lot when you speak English or that you speak very slowly, you’ll know that you need to create more opportunities for speaking practice to improve your speaking for IELTS.
